Updated Information Regarding The Announcement SMUD Rebate Level Urgent News
We have just received notification from SMUD that the solar electric rebate level will be dropping this Monday, 5-14-12. At that point our average Sharp 4.8kW 20 panel system will have about $2,400 less in FREE SMUD rebate funds available.
Please let us know ASAP if you would like to lock in the SMUD rebate level before it drops or if you have any questions.

The SMUD rebate level is now dropping to a lower rebate for solar electric systems.
Sacramento Ranks Number 7 in California for Solar Power Generation
The Sacramento Business Journal announced that Sacramento ranks 7th within California for solar generation. The article dated April 19, 2012 highlights the key findings of the “2012 California Green Innovation Index” released by Next 10, a nonpartisan group.
The article outlined other features regarding the increase in renewable energy generation in 2010 over 2009, the doubling of patent registrations, increased installed solar capacity and the share of global venture capital investment in solar.
Important News for the Solar Industry in California
With the issuance last week of the Proposed Decision related to the determination of California’s 5% net metering cap, it’s game time. We’ve met with Commissioners, we’ve briefed legislators, we’ve filed formal comments and letters of support, and engaged the media. In a significant way, however, the campaign has just begun. The utilities are stepping up their opposition to this proposal – including going to the legislature to see this proposal blocked – and we need to step up our support.
